-
- From what I gather, the Windows emulator in question goes about its job
- by effectively disassembling the target source, in this case the Windows
- program. This disassembled mass of excreta is then processed (adding an
- Amiga GUI, amongst other things) before then going on to be interpretted in
- a step-by-step fashion.
-
- If my above assumptions are correct the final result should act in
- roughly the same way as an AREXX script with a GUI. Maybe faster, maybe
- slower - we'd have to wait and see. Whatever the outcome, a Windows
- emulator, in the strictest sense, it does not appear to be.

-
- You make it sound *so* easy. ;-)
-
- Given that there'll need to be a hell of a lot of processing going on,
- plus as to whether the source is "translated" on the fly or it is post-
- processed, leads me to the conclusion that on anything other that a powerful
- machine the results would in no-way compare to running the same app. under
- full PC emulation (given that a comparable PC emulator was used).

-
- Sadly, the project doesn't seem to be so far along. Well just have to
- wait and see...
